“Blue House Day” was celebrated in Don Bosco School Dabolim on 4th September 2018, to commemorate the canonization of Nobel Laureate, Saint Mother Teresa.
The programme commenced with a prayer to the Almighty, offered by Miss Khushboo, followed by a skit presented by the students of standard IV. The skit depicted an incident of a sick person who was bed ridden due to severe health issues. The Doctor could not cure him and told him that only God could save him. Mother Teresa who was nursing such patients, prayed for his health to be restored and finally her prayer were heard by God. The person became healthy once again. It was considered as a miracle.
Tr. Yashwant reminded the students about Mother Teresa’s work, dedicated to orphans, street children and the homeless. He shared stories about her organization, the Missionaries of Charity, which has built schools, hospitals and hostels for orphans, lepers, street children, the poor and the homeless.
The School Headmistress Madam Brenda Da’ Costa also highlighted Saint Teresa’s life, devoted to the service of the needy.
