The NRSTC Annual day SPARKLES 2.0, held on 10th February, 2018 at Ravindra Bhavan, Vasco was a grand success. The kids were at their sparkling best on stage. The Annual Day theme centred around Health and Hygiene. The parents were thrilled to see their children perform on stage and bring out valuable lessons on this theme.
The children of the Ponda Centre performed a lovely prayer dance. The Colvale Centre presented a Skit titled “Lazy Chandu” which focused on the importance of Cleanliness. The Chimbel Centre performed a hygiene dance on a retro track. The Dabolim Centre presented a skit titled “Stay Clean Be Healthy”. The Zuarinagar Centre enacted a street play showcasing different unhygienic acts that happen in slums and villages resulting in the spread of diseases. The Bicholim Centre explored cleanliness in song and dance through “Swachata ki jyoth jagi re” which depicts cleanliness at public places and use of degradable bags, avoiding plastics. The Baina Centre presented an action Drama (Mime) titled “Save Planet Earth”.
The Annual Day was enjoyed by the audience who showed their appreciation by applauding every item. The children were given an opportunity to display their talents for a good cause and spread a vital message which they did very effectively.
